CNS	Clinical Nurse Specialist - is a licensed Registered Nurse and certified by the Board of Registered Nursing with a master's or doctorate degree in a clinical field of nursing. Component roles include expert clinical practice, leadership, consultation, and education. The CNS is an advanced practice nursing specialist that treats complex patient focused problems and practices quality and cost-effective outcome management influencing patients, nursing personnel and organizations.
CS	Clinical Specialist - Board Certified in a clinical specialty as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center (ANCC).
PHN	Public Health Nurse - Certified by the California Board of Registered Nursing possessing the ability to transfer scientific knowledge from biological, social and physical sciences in applying the nursing process.
CNOR	Certified Nurse Operating Room - Certification granted by the Certification Board Perioperative Nursing for professional achievement by a Registered Nurse providing patient care before, during and after surgery.
CRNFA	Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant - Certification granted by the Certification Board Perioperative Nursing for professional achievement as a Registered Nurse First Assistant. A CRNFA means a professional nurse who is educationally prepared and trained as a surgical first assistant and possesses additional preparation and skills in perioperative nursing.
RHIT	Registered Health Information Technician - Certified by the American Health Information Management Association validating expertise and professional competence in Health Information Management. Component areas include medical record review and analysis, data management, coding, confidentiality, and release of medical information.
